DescriptionRoy Orbison’s glasses were as much a part of his persona as his voice, and he accidentally developed that image while on a U.K. tour with the Beatles in 1963. After deplaning he realized that he left his regular glasses on a plane so he wore the dark sunglasses and received such a positive response he kept wearing them.
