DescriptionFrench fashion designer Sophie Theallet has been a notable collaborator with Lady Gaga, creating several iconic looks for the singer. Her work with Lady Gaga includes the infamous "Meat Dress," a gown made entirely of raw beef, which was worn at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. She has also designed several other costumes for Gaga, resulting in some of the singer's most memorable and iconic looks.

Gaga wore this Sophie Theallet-designed white silk full-length gown to promote the hit series American Horror Story: Hotel. She appeared in the dress as her character "The Countess" at the Golden Globes and People's Choice Awards. Gaga’s portrayal of The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel marked a turning point in her acting career, earning her the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie. Her fashion for the role was reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour and was crafted by Emmy-winning costume designer Lou Eyrich.
