DescriptionBefore forming the legendary heavy metal group Led Zeppelin, John Paul Jones was a successful music composer and arranger. After Led Zeppelin disbanded, Jones began a genre-bending solo career that saw him collaborate with artists, including the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, R.E.M., Jars of Clay, Heart, Ben E. King, Peter Gabriel, Foo Fighters, and Lenny Kravitz. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 as a member of Led Zeppelin. John Paul Jones used this signature Manson bass guitar during the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at London's Wembley Stadium. The guitar was autographed by artists who performed at the Wembley and Los Angeles Taylor Hawkins Tribute concerts. The guitar was donated by Jones, the proceeds from which benefitted the non-profit charities MusicCares and Music Support.
