DescriptionFormed in 1987 in Tempe Arizona, Gin Blossoms are a rock band that found mainstream success in 1992 following the release of the first major label album, New Miserable Experience. The first single released from that album, “Hey Jealousy” went gold while the album went quadruple platinum. Their name comes from a photo of actor W.C. Fields in Kenneth Anger’s book Hollywood Babylon, which is captioned, “W.C. Fields with gin blossoms”, referring to the actor’s spotted face and large nose by the slang terms for rosacea.

This pedal case with Gin Blossom’s name and lighting bolt motif was donated to the Hard Rock by the band in 2023 after filming at the Tribal Mansion.
