DescriptionThe Stones’ 1972 American tour in support of their landmark double l.p. 'Exile On Main Street' remains part of rock and roll legend and according to critic Dave Marsh, one of the "benchmarks of an era". The tour, also known as the "Stones Touring Party" constituted the band's first performances in the United States following the Altamonte Free Concert in December 1969. Keith Richards wielded this Gibson SG on that legendary tour.
