DescriptionFormed in the Los Angeles suburbs of Agoura Hills, California, in 1994, Hoobastank originally started off as a Talking Heads cover band. In 2003, the band released their second official album, The Reason. The single of the same name earned Hoobastank three Grammy nominations in 2005 - Song of the Year, Best Rock Album, and Best Pop Performance By A Duo or Group with Vocal. This Paul Reed Smith guitar was used by Dan Estrin during the recording of the album ''The Reason'', as well as the subsequent tour.
