DescriptionIn 1999, Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell launched a solo career with his debut album, Euphoria Morning, which achieved commercial success. Two years later, he formed the supergroup Audioslave with Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello.

This signed Gretsch Duo Jet guitar was played onstage by Chris Cornell when he performed at the grand opening of the Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas on October 15, 2009. Cornell’s performance was part of Hard Rock International’s Ambassador of Rock Tour, which supports local charities in various markets. His performance contributed $25,000 to Opportunity Village, an organization that provides a range of services for people with disabilities, including workforce development, community employment, day programs, inclusive housing, arts, and social recreation.
