DescriptionBorn and raised on Hawaii’s famed north Shore of Oahu, Jack Johnson is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, filmmaker, philanthropist, and former professional surfer. He began writing songs on surf trips with his friends while working on the surf documentaries "Thicker Than Water" and "The September Sessions." He used his downtime to create songs that would eventually become soundtracks for his documentaries, ultimately culminating in a successful music career.
