DescriptionBorn February 26, 1932, in Kingsland, Arkansas, Johnny Cash became one of country music's most influential stars of the 50s and 60s, releasing over 100 hit singles. This Martin D-28 acoustic guitar was owned by Johnny Cash and played by him on stage. Cash can be seen with this guitar on the cover of the live album "Survivors", featuring Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

It was autographed and inscribed by Johnny with the first four lines of his song "I Walk the Line." It was also mentioned in the book, "Cash: An American Man" by Bill Miller.
