DescriptionOne of the most influential, and enduring bands of the rock era, the Rolling Stones has been active for a staggering six decades. Bass guitarist, Bill Wyman, was member of the band from 1962 to 1993, contributing to 19 albums during that period. In 1997, Wyman formed Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, which were a blues rock band that emphasized cover songs from the 1950s.This 1978 Kramer Bass guitar was owned and played by Wyman during his time with the Rolling Stones. It features a natural finished body of maple in combination with eighteen walnut stripings. There are two mini-toggle switches, clear/black control knobs and aluminum framed maple neck. The fretboard is of ebony with aluminum dot makers and is finished by a two-pronged V-shaped chrome headstock, and custom-made German Schaller tuning pegs.
