Jackson "Roswell Rhodes" Aluminum Guitar

Decade1990s
LocationNot On View
DescriptionAnthrax guitarist Scott Ian is well-known for his unique stage presence, which includes a remarkable collection of stage-used guitars. One notable instrument from his collection is this aluminum Jackson Roswell Rhodes guitar.

This guitar is one of only 25 made for Jackson endorsees and is considered one of the most unusual instruments ever manufactured. It is a redesign of the iconic Randy Rhoads V model, which played a significant role in the rise of Jackson guitars.

Featuring an aircraft aluminum body and an ebony “crop circle” fretboard inlay, the Roswell Rhodes serves as a distinctive tribute to UFO culture. Scott Ian used this guitar during Anthrax's 1997 North American Tour.
