DescriptionKnown professionally as KRS-One, Lawrence Parker is an American rapper from the Bronx. In the mid-1980’s, he formed the hip-hop group, Boogie Down Productions, with DJ Scott La Rock. Widely considered an influence on many hip-hop artists, KRS-One is known for his song “Sound of da Police”, and “My Philosophy”.
